More agile tank for scouting. Also it has ridiculously exposed machinery so it should focus on moving in and then moving out so to not get totaled.

You can view the original sketch for this as well as a few other goodies at my blog:

Mr. Shadowofthesoldier forgot that there is one version were this tank could rule. I see light armor in a heavy gun package. Can you spell Tank Hunter. With the venerable tradition of Shoot and Scoot? As for the joint well I see a cantilever joint. And let us not forget that the tracks are also jointed. So the hydraulics should compensate.

very cool i love this kind of draws :D Very nice !

-Technicaly :
this concept is cool, but your draw is technically bad : The tank should be lower on flat ground but with the ability to gain height on muddy ground, actually your tank can't with only one joint... The optics are too heavy, and very high. Attempt to plug them into the turret, and not at the top. Sadely, this "scout" will have a poor mabeuverability : the tracks should be shorter...
Also, the gun looks very short, i suppose (with NATO 120mm Shells) a penetration around... 400mm (leclerc, leopard2 = 800mm)

Huh.

I sketched something like this. Only, instead of treads it hovers, and there is a 3rd set of "treads" in the middle.

This is awesome, its too bad we don't have tank like these.
And I hate to praise and beg, but is it alright with you if I use this type of tank in some of my artwork, giving credit back to you for the idea of course?
