The House in the Hollows

In a land of which only few know,
The wind dances over the hills too and fro,
Flowing through the valleys across the land,
From the ocean side to desert sand,
Passing all the trees of the forest deep,
Across great fields it does creep,
To a place that is hard to find,
Hidden from many,even the mind,
A dangerous path will guide you,
To a place that I have been too,

Past the rivers of nasty green muck,
Past the swamps where many are stuck,
Deep inside the forest of green,
Deep inside this place is unseen,
Hiding beyond the great organic masses,
Hiding within time as it passes,
A place on the verge of shadow and light,
A place which is really no great sight,
Only for those who need to see,
Only for the bravest the truth will be,

What are the hollows? Some might ask,
To explain that is my next task,
The hollows are great mounds of organic mass,
Some form trees through which the wind does pass,
Others form hills of dark green vines,
In all shades of green, including some limes,
The hollows have masses that are incredibly dense,
To travel them is very confusing and doesn’t make sense,
Only for those who can navigate the maze,
And see past the thick purple haze,

Under the yellow in the red clouds above,
Deep in the mists that he shadows love,
The Hollows have hidden there secret for so long,
The weak have not seen it, although some where strong,
To see the secret, the hidden building,
To learn the secret that it is wielding,
Deep within the Hollow’s dark cove,
To march further than others have strove,
Will give a reward so tremendously great,
Others will probably remember the date,
Walking the path which one follows,
To the House in the Hollows.
